Counseling from Webster University (December, 2022) with emphases in
couples/marriage/family and clinical mental health. My primary focus is in addictions
counseling.
Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education (Teaching
K-12) and a Coaching Minor from James Madison University (December 1981). I have engaged
in coaching for most of my life in the sport of gymnastics.

Hi, my name is Rashanda Coachman and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and a licensed clinical addiction specialist. I graduated from UNC Pembroke where I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been providing group and individual counseling services for approx 3 years to adolescents and adults. I have experience working with substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ populations, adjustment/transitions, and many others. I know that counseling looks different for every client therefore I utilize various approaches to assist each client in meeting their goals which includes person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, DBT informed skills, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma informed approaches. Amy Fuhs is a LPC who has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field working in residential setting, foster care and as a Qualified Professional. Amy obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1996 and graduated from Webster University with her Masters degree in 2009 and obtained her LPC-A in 2010 and her LPC in 2014 in the state of North Carolina.
Amy works primarily with, adults, couples and adolescents. Amy has a heart for the Military and working with Military families. Amy has years of experience in working with those in alternative lifestyles and is a kink aware professional. Amy also deals with such issues as depression, anxiety, anger management and relationship issues.
Amy also is currently conducting research in childbirth after loss and trauma.
I received my first professional credential (a certification) in 1993, and earned a license when it was first available in Pennsylvania in 2002 and still maintain those actively. I have since been licensed and/or certified in four additional states including an LPC and LCAS in North Carolina. I have worked with both women and men as young as age six, and as mature as age 94. I have experience with individuals, children, adolescents, and families. I am comfortable working with thought disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, the autism spectrum, PTSD, complex trauma and its effects along with other stimulus on mood disturbance throughout the life span. I have worked extensively with addictive disorders by themselves and disorders that occur co-morbidly from the use of drugs and alcohol in combination with mood, thought, personality issues and other disorders. I have also worked with forensic populations and their intersection with the legal system. I am a ten-year veteran of the Navy, and as such, hope to bring that experience as context to work with Military Families in the local area. It could be no greater honor than to be permitted to assist others in unburdening themselves of the concerns that create disturbance in mood and other aspects of the whole person. I am grateful to be allowed to continue that work here.
Alina Contino, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in North Carolina. Dr. Contino also retains licensure in the State of Alabama and a certification as a Health Services Provider (HSP-P) Professional in North Carolina. She is a bilingual practitioner who speaks and writes in both English and Spanish, and has worked with a variety of diverse populations in the United States as well as Internationally. She worked for 5 years within the Department of Justice for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, in the states of Indiana, Georgia, and South Carolina, treating and supervising many challenging cases of a mental health nature. She also completed most of her clinical training in community mental health agencies where she provided and conducted psychotherapy and testing to adult individuals and adolescents. Her treatment orientations of choice constitute: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT and IPTA). Within her career, she has mainly treated forensic populations and adult individuals dealing with major mental illness and personality disorders to include PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and issues of an interpersonal nature such as loss, trauma and familial and personal conflict.
Victoria Rush is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor; also hold the NCC, a national board certification for counselors. (Over 35 years working with the military). A graduate of Campbell University with a BS in Psychology, and Webster University with a MA in Counseling. Completed requirements for a dual emphases of Marriage and Family Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. Clients are encouraged to strive for personal growth and awareness. Ms. Mckoy earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Campbell University. She has almost 10 years of counseling experience. Ms. Mckoy also has extensive training in childhood mental disorders such as ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorders. She also provides faith-based counseling to individuals who identify spirituality as an important aspect of their lives. Katherine Duncan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in North Carolina and retains her LMFT in the state of Alabama as well. Katherine graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, and then went on to attend Western New Mexico University where she earned an additional Master’s Degree in Social Work.

Kaphazija Fulmore is a licensed clinical social worker associate who has been in practice for about 4 years in the social work field, newly transitioning into the world of therapeutic practice. Kaphazija received her undergraduate degree at Fayetteville State University earning her bachelor of social work and earned her masters in social work from the University of Kentucky in 2022, later receiving licensure in early 2023.
With a passion for child welfare, healthcare advocacy, mental health, transitioning to therapeutic practice was an easy decision. Since transitioning from social work to therapy, she has learned to continue to take a holistic approach while working with clients. Jovan McLeod, affectionately known as Jo, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Board-Certified Counselor with 12 years of clinical experience in the mental health field. Jo has provided behavioral health care services across a spectrum of populations in a variety of settings to include: a residential psychiatric rehabilitation treatment facility, the Department of Corrections, the family court system, Drug and Young Adult Court, military installations, schools, outpatient and community mental health, as well as private practice. William Jones, commonly referred to as “Mr. Will”, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Board- Certified Counselor with 3 years of clinical experience in the mental health field. William brings a wealth of knowledge and skills in working with culturally diverse populations, to include military families. As a Retired Command Sergeant Major from the U.S. Army of 27 years of service and military husband of 29 years, four children and one grandson.
Mr. Will takes a Holistic approach when working with Clients. Although he is trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution -Focused Therapy and Emotion -Focused Therapy, but is considered more of an Integrated or Eclectic therapist. He does not believe that one theory or practice fits all the concerns of a clients needs.

Mr. Will serves populations consisting of individuals, couples, and families; ages five through one hundred, in need of guidance though counseling. He covers areas in marital, relationships, mood disorders, addictions, abuse/neglect, Parent/child relationship, career, pre-marital, co-parenting, grief/bereavement, anger, anxiety, depression, military culture, PTSD, and trauma, adjustment/transition issues.
I am a provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-A). I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW) from Elizabeth City State University and my Master of Social Work degree (MSW) from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The approach I utilize is a client-centered and strength-based approach, stemming from interpersonal, psychodynamic, self-compassion, and cognitive-behavioral frameworks to address client needs. With over three years of social work practice, I am equipped to work with a wide variety of presenting concerns, which include adjustments to change/life transitions, anxiety, crisis management, DSS involvement, depression, trauma-related disorders, and others. As a mental health social worker, I take my position seriously and aim to assist clients with addressing difficult issues in effort to make meaningful changes in their lives.
